So Gunpla 2013 is 10 days away, so what better time than to give it a go?
Yep, that's right, I'm trying to win an international competition at the last minute - nothing like preparation!
So I'm using an old kit, the 1/144 Xekueins HG from Bandai.
I've had it in the cupboard for years, partly made, so lets try something different and invent a scheme and try and get it done by Thursday 8th August.
This of course means the Dreamforge Crusader is on the back-burner - it's still going on though.

So it's finally starting to go from a collection of sub-assemblies to an actual machine.
Dreamforge have made an amazing kit, which although thick in parts actually looks to scale.
Check out the progress as I continue to run out of paint and ponder if the weathering and paint chips are too much... and we add some nose art!
So I was informed today that it would be wise to include the Games Workshop IP Disclaimer:
You will now find that not-so-subtly on the top of the Miniatures page
I paint other miniature lines other than GW, but they like to have a disclaimer, so there it is...

Look, it's not all about the gun... but it looks hell-a-bad!!
Yes, there has been some progress and quite a few large pictures - appropriate for such a large mech.
The new painting technique continues even as the paint runs out!
Enjoy - and feel free to comment!
