An interesting update for Necromunda this week with the new Necromunda: Bastions of Law expansion, which gives us some solid background for these brutes, plus some rules for "Badzone Enforcer Gangs - Enforcers from isolated or abandoned fortress-precincts". That could be interesting. I'm thinking Marshall Bravestarr or a wayward Sheriff - either way there's some fun hobby potential in there! We also have new miniatures, with the Palanite Enforcer Captains & Sergeants giving us some plastic leaders for our crews, and there's also two new resin sets too, with the Palanite Companions (crappy lore for these guys - such a wasted opportunity!) and Palanite Enforcer Haunts on pre-order this weekend too. Not listed on the GW site for Australia and New Zealand but listed at independent stockists is the Palanite Enforcer Weapons and Upgrades, a nice selection of wepons for your crew, but do be aware that they are not designed for use with the older Subjugator Patrol, which is a bit of a shame really! Maybe it's going to be deleted from the range... Of course with this expansion comes the Bastions of Law Dice Set and Bastions of Law Gang Tactics Cards. That's not all in Necromunda, there's also the new Ashwing Helamites for the Ash Wastes. Great looking minis that would fit into any games system and surely will!
Warhammer: Age of $igmar has a really really tempting new box - the Spearhead: Soulblight Gravelords – Deathrattle Tomb Host. Oh God this is a beauty! It comes with a Wight King, 5 x Barrow Knights, 10 x Barrow Guard, 20 x Deathrattle Skeletons and 4 x Tombstones. A great great set. Need. Want!! The other Spearhead is the new Gloomspite Gitz – Snarlpack Huntaz which comes with a Snarlboss, 2 x Wolfgit Retinue, 2 x Sunsteala Wheelas and 6 x Snarlpack Cavalry. Super fluffy, very cool, lots of character! Dammit!
In books this week we have the (probably already out of stock) Saints of the Imperium (Limited Edition). It includes the novels Celestine by Andy Clark, Ephrael Stern: The Heretic Saint by David Annandale, The Triumph of Saint Katherine by Danie Ware and the short story Celestine: Revelation by Andy Clark.
