Nighthaunt, the embodiment of all things that go bump in the night, lead us off this week with a new Battletome, which comes in Did You Just Hear? That Gamer's Edition and Venkman Ectoplasm Standard Edition. There's two new minis in this edition, with the Knight of Shrouds (available for the first time seperately) and the noxious Lord Vitriolic, with the cutest little apothecary rack on his back you ever-did see!
Sporting a good mix of troops, the new Spearhead: Nighthaunt – Cursed Shacklehorde gives you a ready to play set that would be a great fun boost to your existing forces or maybe the start to something fun and new. As we would expect there are the Nighthaunt Warscroll Cards and Nighthaunt Dice making up the rest of the pre-orders for them this week.
Meanwhile, on the stinkier ghoulish end of the Death faction (don't tell them, they think they're very regal and glamorous), we have the Flesh-eater Courts! Heading up the wave there is the Flesh-eater Courts Battletome which comes in Imperious Exemplar Gamer's Edition and Jeepers Shaggy Standard Edition. There's a new ghoul on the block for the Flesh-eater Courts, with High Falconer Felgryn making his debut too - where do these ghouls find so many tree stumps to hang from? There's also two new sets - the Regiment of Renown: The Scarlet Jury with ole Guts Head Grand Justice Gormayne and his Royal Decapitator minion, or you could go with a brilliant core set, the Spearhead: Flesh-eater Courts – Charnel Watch. This latter set is absolutely brilliant, with an Abhorrant Gorewarden, 6 x Crypt Flayers/ Crypt Horrors, and 10 characterful Royal Beastflayers. Packed with great minis, this is a must have! For the gamers out there we also have the Flesh-eater Courts Warscroll Cards and the Flesh-eater Courts Dice.
In books this week we have the new Chaos-themed Abraxia: Spear of the Everchosen in Limited Edition, with an awesome cover, and the new Legend of Sigmar omnibus by Graham McNeill in paperback. The omnibus includes the novels, Heldenhammer, the David Gemmell Legend Awarding Empire, and God King, as well as short stories Let the Great Axe Fall, Gods of Flesh and Blood and Sword Guardian.
