The Black Templars get the best of the releases in this pre-order wave, with not only a new 98 page Codex Supplement: Black Templars - available in Cleansing Hate Collector's Edition and Purge the Blaphemer Standard Edition - but they also get some new minis. The first is the rather diminitive Execrator (who knew the Black Templars recruit Squats into their Chapter), who has an amazing bare head sculpt, and the other is a Crusade Ancient, who comes with a pretty epic banner, as you would imagine. There's also a new Combat Patrol: Black Templars, some Black Templars Dice and of course the Datasheet Cards: Black Templars. Now if you prefer your Space Marines shinier, then the Grey Knights are for you! The Codex: Grey Knights comes in Buff & Polish Collector's Edition and Xeno-Scour Standard Edition. Sadly, however, there are no new miniatures! The poor Grey Knights have been so poorly served over the years, and despite the addition of Primaris-ised characters, the troops are still old. Not bad, but old. It's so strange to not update them now. Anyway, there is a new Combat Patrol: Grey Knights, which if you zoom in on the miniatures, even the paint jobs on them are very dated. At least you'll get the new-ish Castellan Crowe model! Seems like the Grey Knights will again stay the lone Chapter to not be updated. If that doesn't bother you, there's also the Grey Knights Battleforce: Sanctic Conclave. Like their Black Templar bretheren there's the Grey Knights Dice and Datasheet Cards so you can be a fancy player!! There's two other Combat Patrols, the Assault Brood for the Tyranid which includes a really nice selection of the newer minis, and the Combat Patrol: Space Wolves. Speaking of Space Wolves, the Spear of Russ Limited Edition is on pre-order this week and includes Wolfblade, Sons of Fenris and Wolf's Honour. There's also a Black Templar-themed book, Broken Crusade in paperback and Grey Knights: The Omnibus in paperback which includes the books; Grey Knights, Dark Adeptus and Hammer of Daemons.
