Last week we mentioned that the Tzeentch releases just keep coming and next week is no exception with four new kits, and one re-release.
On the New Releases front, it's spearheaded by the Tzaangor once again. From what seemed to be a small inclusion in the Silver Tower game, the Tzaangor - Tzeentch Beastmen - have taken on a life of their own and now have to be the face of the Tzeentch Legions. It's an interesting turn of event considering the back seat actual Beastmen seem to be getting in the Age of $igmar universe. Speaking of $igmar, we added the "$" for Sigmar because of the high prices that Games Workshop were charging - the Stormcast Eternals were monstrously expensive for what you got - but these Tzeentch releases seem to be settling back to almost Warhammer prices. The Acolytes that were released this week are an example of value - and beautiful models.
So, this week sees the reboxing of the Warhammer 40K Tzaangor minus the 40K weapons sprue - our unboxing here. This is a lovely kit and a joy to paint. The Tzaangors also get some cavalry of sorts with the Tzaangor Enlightened/ Skyfires dual kit. Finally, some flying discs with your choice of ranged or melee fighters. The Tzaangor also get a leader with the Tzaangor Shaman, again on a cool flying disc! Tzeentch also rolls out the old Magister and a paint set.
Dark Eldar don't get a tonne of love, but the new Gangs of Commorragh not only gives you a new skirmish game, but the minis are 50% off retail. Great for force building, especially Reavers - my favourite models. These cool Jes Goodwin pics (right) accompany the write up on the website, so may be in the rule book that comes with the game.
Also next week, the Horus Heresy Virtues of the Sons/Sins of the Father Audio Drama gives us some much-needed Blood Angels fluff
