Does that title sound bitchy? It's not meant to, but it seems that with the release of Nagash and the End of Times, Games Workshop have discovered filters. They've always done lighting, but now it's filters, bless their hearts. This issue is actually a slight departure for Games Workshop and it could just be because of timing, but this issue includes the still-on-pre-order Morghasts! Usually we don't get soon to be released miniatures but here they are! Seems like a good idea to me! But there's not just the undead, we get a look at the whole release of Space Wolves, a smashing Army of the Month, some washed out pictures from a year ago and some stellar 'Eavy Metal and Parade Ground miniatures. There's also some exclusive Paint Splatter guides for the Mortarchs and of course Blanchitsu, fast becoming my favourite part of Warhammer: Visions! I am not a photographer, so expect dodgy pictures below.
Come on - tell me i'm wrong. I mean it looks really cool, but if we start seeing miniatures doing duck-faced selfies I'm packing up and going home! #selfie #lol #yolo #hashtag
There is a lot of Nagash and his minions in this issue. Most of the images you will unfortunately have seen before, but there are some originals! If you haven't been getting the White Dwarf issues because Fantasy isn't your thing, then pick this up just to have a look at this fancy-pants miniature!
I know the Stormfang isn't popular, but that double page spread with the head on shot is cool!
There is a lot of repetition of images in the Space Wolf section though. You saw it all in White Dwarf, really!
They've now divided the magazine up a bit too - so the beginning is all new releases and then you get this splash page with the prices and codes etc. Not a horrible idea!
