Zenian League RSN Argus Class Carrier
The Zenian League RSN Argus Class Cruiser is my first Firestorm Armada model and painting to this scale (whatever scale it is) has been interesting.
The Rense System Navy is proud to unleash this crushing brute. Sent out as a symbol of Dindrenzi power and dedication, the Argus Class Carrier will crush anything that stands in its way. Hosting some of the most formidable weaponry deployed in the war effort, it is critical to providing the necessary firepower to bring down their fearsome opponents. |
The model was interesting, and comparing to other models in the range I'm not sure how the scale works - it just looks weird next to the others.
The resin isn't as crisp as other resin I have used before, nor the details as fine, which in something purporting to be so large should be there.
There's an almost rounded feel to the edges of panels, which should logically be square or sharp.
Some of the panel lines were also shallow, like the doors for the fighters for example.
I'd really like some fighters to place on the runways, but doubt they will ever be available.
I may add more details or insignia later to unite my fleet, but for now - as a test model - this will do.
