So Gunpla 2013 is 10 days away, so what better time than to give it a go?
Yep, that's right, I'm trying to win an international competition at the last minute - nothing like preparation!
So I'm using an old kit, the 1/144 Xekueins HG from Bandai.
I've had it in the cupboard for years, partly made, so lets try something different and invent a scheme and try and get it done by Thursday 8th August.
This of course means the Dreamforge Crusader is on the back-burner - it's still going on though.

So it's finally starting to go from a collection of sub-assemblies to an actual machine.
Dreamforge have made an amazing kit, which although thick in parts actually looks to scale.
Check out the progress as I continue to run out of paint and ponder if the weathering and paint chips are too much... and we add some nose art!

Yes, there has been some progress and quite a few large pictures - appropriate for such a large mech.
The new painting technique continues even as the paint runs out!
