Hasbro have just announced part of their new War on Cybetron Siege line up will include some new Micro Master 2-packs, and by the look of it they have taken some inspiration from two other Hasbro lines - G.I.Joe and MASK. Have a look at Swindler (below left) and Stormcloud (below right) then have a look at the MASK vehicle Thunderhawk and the Night Raven from the G.I.Joe line. Although not exactly the same, there does seem to be some serious inspiration. This is of course not the first time these properties have crossed over - in 2008 G.I.Joe brought out a Matt Trakker figure and in 2015 Transformers released a figure, Viper, based on the Cobra Rattler from G.I. Joe. These crossovers are great fun - and for fans of the franchises a great addition to their collections!

![]() Australia isn't the place for good or new Transformers. We are not serviced well, let's be honest! So when my friend Ced sent me this pic (click for bigger view) of the new Metroplex at retail in Australia, colour me surprised! As you can see from the box - it's bloody massive! It's (in the US vernacular) "2 Feet tall" and at around $119 AUS (on special mind you) it's probably a pretty good buy! He found this one at Target Rhodes, but there were only a few. As the master of all things TF, he also told me that Toys r Us in Australia will be getting a small amount of Masterpiece Soundwaves, but they will retail for $250 AUS. What a rip!! Amazing toy, but not for that price. They're sold out in Canada, so this one might not get added to my shelves :( UPDATE ... okay - so you saw it coming, right? Metroplex had to come home with me!!
