As you may know I have been in the wilds of Canada's North and wasn't able to bring this to you live, but in the interest of posterity and completion - here is the review of White Dwarf #100. Considering we've done all the rest it seemed silly to miss one! White Dwarf #100 is, as the cover says, a "Review of the Year 2015" and indeed it is! Month by month, the Games Workshop team go through the releases for that month with reflective notes and some background. As was the case last year, they are also running a poll on Miniature Of The Year 2015. Miniature of the Year is pretty hotly contested, because lets face it, humans have this annoying tendency to think for themselves and have individual opinions. How rude! Thinking back, what was your favourite mini this year? The look back also includes Forge World and Black Library, so hold onto your hats & lets have a look inside. + + More After The Jump + + |

I wanted this force to look different from Guardsmen and also like they had Imperium money spent on their gear, so I mixed parts from the Tempestus Scions and the Skitarii Vanguard. They go together amazingly well - as if meant to be! I considered doing the helmet orange to match the rest of his armour, but it might have been too out there. The Skitarii helmet is just so cool! Big fan!! Exotic weaponry would be pretty likely in the service of a Rogue Trader, so this Mechanicus weapon just added to the character of the model. His other gear, such as the pouches, I wanted to look as if it was from different sources. I think they're the best bit of the model, personally! So here is the retinue so far. They look like they go together, so that's good.
Maybe one more trooper and then onto something a little more exotic!
