How nice is it to see Space Marines that aren't blue? The White Scars are back - lets see how Games Workshop handle cultural appropriation - with their very own Codex in But Painting White Is Hard Standard Edition and The Great Khan Is Not Dead Collectors Edition (webstore exclusive). Excitingly there are also a few new minis to go with this release, Primaris-ified Chief Librarian Tigurius and Primaris-ified Kor'sarro Khan with literally the second biggest bird we've seen all day on his arm. But if you're into White Scars, the goodness just keeps on giving with a White Scars Primaris Upgrades & Transfers set (tad pricey, but super cool they FINALLY added transfers to these sets) AND there's also some very cool White Scars Dice. There's also Ultramarine Dice, because why would they just produce generic Space Marine Dice when every Space Marine is obviously just a repainted Ultramarine... grrrr! Oh, and there's Space Marine Data Cards, White Scars Data Cards and Ultramarines Data Cards.
There's also a fair few books out next week too - the The Uriel Ventris Chronicles: Volume 2, Knights of Macragge featuring Cato Sicarius, Age of $igmar adventures abound with Hamilcar: Champion of the Gods in paperback, Kal Jerico: Sinner's Bounty (Limited Edition), and the audio drama Agents of the Imperium.
We don't usually cover Forge World, but they're finally rolling out their Dark Angels with the Dark Angels Legion Contemptor Dreadnought (which comes with alternate chest decoration) and the awesome Dark Angels Legion Praetor in Cataphractii Terminator Armour. The mighty 1st Legion are finally here!
By the by, there is also the Codex: Space Marines Indomitus Edition which retails in Australia for $420 - and believe it or not - after just 35 minutes on pre-order it's sold out!
