While we all take a break as Games Workshop enters the foreplay period of the Age of $igmar Version 4.0 (some would say "lacklustre approach" if the reception to Spearhead is any indication) we hobbyists enter a little bit of limbo with yet another Lord of the Rings Made to Order weekend. To be fair it's not a bad thing, and do we really need new releases every week? It's hard to keep up! Plus with the recent passing of Bernard Hill, who played him in the Peter Jackson films, maybe it's appropriate. It would have been nice of GW to maybe have made reference to that though...
Anyway, what have we got? Well, play the main attraction of the fillums with the
Heroes of Helm’s Deep - the gangs all here (minus the hobbits who were of course off galivanting, getting lost, getting high, being hunted etc.) or, if you prefer a bit more of the mainline Rohan, then the Defenders of Rohan may be more your cup of tea. There's also some space for the Rohan themselves in all this - it's not just about the Fellowship - with King Théoden (Warg Attack), Gamling (Warg Attack), and Éomer, Knight of the Pelennor, plus a pair of sturdy Rohan Commanders all taking to the field.
