This weekend saw a massive release of Tzeentch stuff, some so popular it sold out pretty quickly.
So without further ado, here's our look at the backbone of the Tzeentch Legions, the Rubric Marines and Tzeentch's loyal attack dogs, the Tzaangors - and didn't they have a surprise in store for us!
So, these guys were unexpectantly popular! Sold out of almost every GW webstore, the Rubric Marines proved to hit the spot for fans of Thousand Sons and Space Marines in general. The first thing you notice about these guys is the amount of detail on them. There's more detail on these minis than I have seen on nearlyu anything else. You could very easily divide the bits up and make two units of them mixed with generic Chaos Marines and have a great looking force. From the Tzeentch symbol on the sole of their boots and delicate details on the MKIV armour to the new Bolters that hark back to an earlier age - this really is thye mutha-load for post-Heresy Space Marine fans. With lots of new bitz and some new details to discover, the Rubric Marines are well worth your $$. |
The remergence of the Tzeentch Beastmen in both Warhammer 40K and Warhammer Age of $igmar via the Silver Tower game has made them incredibly popular - and it's the fact they are in Warhammer Age of $igmar as well as WH40K that caught our interest, especially since right out of the box you can make these guys for either WH40K or Age of $igmar! If you're running Tzeentch in Age of $igmar, you can use these guys with the bonus inclusion of shields and swords to match right in with the Silver Tower miniatures. Apart from the Pink and Blue Horrors, this may be the first time we have seen this in quite some time. Remember you heard the Tzaangors rumour confirmed here first when we revealed exclusively the inclusion of a Tzaangor-esque skull in the Heroes Bases set. Critics be damned! |
