So the scuttle-butt about the Dreamforge Leviathan Crusader and the Games Workshop Imperial Knight continues.
Last time we brought you a height comparison - you could look on it as "bang-for-your-buck" if you like - this time it's the weapons load out!
Now I know a picture tells a thousand words, so I have a few pictures that tell a few words - most of which are along the lines of "wow".
I've waxed lyrical about the Dreamforge Leviathan Crusader before and it is a massive kit with lots of details and amazing poseability - but Games Workshop do deserve some props for their Imperial Knight... but more on that later - we're here to talk about guns.
IN THE RED CORNER
Armament: Melta & Chain Blade
IN THE BLUE CORNER
Armament: Gatling Cannon & HEL Cannon
That HEL Cannon is massive, and the Gatling Cannon is bad-arse!
The flexibility on the arms of the Imperial Knight is amazing though and very fluid.
The big weapons of the Leviathan Crusader are impressive and very detailed - don't let my WIP pictures here deceive you - but they aren't that poseable restricting super-poseability.. Still being a big-arse mech, poseability isn't really that important - it's there to destroy stuff... and destroy it does!
Is it expensive? Yes
Did they do a lot of work on it? Yes
Could they have just given this project to Forge World and we all be paying a fortune or missing out? YES
Always look on the bright side - we have it here now - lap it up!
