The next Warhammer Quest expansion Shadows Over Hqammerhal is upon us, and instead of single pose minis, this release includes current multi-pose minis in the set. Unfortunately there's no new models in this set. Be interesting to see how it sells!
There's new stuff too in the form of the new Stormcast Chicken Cavalry... I mean Vanguard Palladors! These are really cool and the posing is reminiscent of some historical miniature poses - very dynamic. To lead them there is the Lord Aquilor, who also has a non-helmeted head option! An old favourite is back, Slambo - veteran Chaos Champion has been reimagined... and frankly the original was better! What is interesting is his leg armour that is very reminiscent of the Cataphrachtii armour for 40K - could this be a cross-over miniature? The Scythes of The Emperor return in a new novel. You thought the Lamenters had it bad - these guys have no luck and the new novel, Slaughter at Giants Coffin just goes to prove that. In time for all the Eldar shenanigans, Asurmen is back with a new audio drama Asurmen: The Dark Road.
Also, if you do order Shadows Over Hqammerhal you get a free GM's screen. Looks like Games Workshop have been watching Wizards of the Coast and their D&D products!
