Definitely one of the miniatures that caught my eye before CanCon was the preview of the Chevaliere Templar (right) which had appeared on the Ex-Manus Facebook some time ago. Happily it is now in production - so what's it like? Does it match up to the Green sculpt? + + More After The Jump + + | Last weekend was CanCon, Australia's largest table-top gaming convention where I picked up a few new minis, plus a couple of older ones. One of the brand new miniatures is from Ex-Manus Studios, who we looked at a little while ago, so I was eager to see some of the miniatures previewed at SMASH! in the flesh... white metal if you prefer! |
The overall look of the Chevaliere Templar is very transferable to many games systems. She could be a guard in a 40K Inquisitor party, the overseer of some dignitory in Mercs or maybe even a priestess in any dystopian or Steampunk games system.
I blu-taced the arm for this shot but there is a small amount of movement possible once you glue it,. so a small amount of variety can be had with the one figure.
The face is very well done too, feminine but also elegant and strong.
Verdict
I can't find this mini on the Ex-Manus website, but i'm sure it will be up soon. They sold out at CanCon (I got the last one!) so supplies may be limited right now.
Well done Ex-Manus - looking forward to seeing more to compliment this one.
