What would a celebration be without a celebration miniature? Well this celebration miniature comes in the form of Severina Raine, who is unfortunately such a boring miniature it will quickly fade from memory.
Away from Black Library for a minute, there are two new Start Collecting sets; Start Collecting! Maggotkin of Nurgle and Start Collecting! Idoneth Deepkin. If you're a fan of Warhammer Underworlds: Nightvault then the Forbidden Chambers Board Pack, fully compatible with the full game. Also next week White Dwarf March 2019 is out, guest edited by Phil Kelly!
First up is the Angron: Slave of Nuceria (Limited Edition). This 244-page hardback comes with a custom foiled slipcase and for those of us eager for any more info on the War Hounds Legion, is hopefully packed full of information to flesh out these guys. The next in the Horus Heresy novels is also out, The Buried Dagger, which tells the tale of the fall of the Death Guard to Nurgle in all his pestilence. The hardback version of Honourbound, the story behind the Severina Raine miniature is also out. Now barely a year goes by without these being re-released but the Horus Rising and False Gods Celebration Edition Paperbacks are pretty cool - each includes an additional short story, yet another new introduction by Dan Abnett, black page edges and these stark covers. Graham McNeil's classic Storm of Iron is getting a re-release - if you haven't read this it's a great brutal read! Another classic is Gotrek and Felix City of the Damned. If you do decide to buy any of these books, you will also get the Black Library Celebration 2019 Anthology for free!
In audio drama, the Our Martyred Lady (CD Box Set) is heading our way. A four CD set too!!
In merchandise, there's a Black Library Celebration 2019 Coaster Set with the images of The Eye of Horus, the World Eaters Legion, the Death Guard Legion and the Knights Errant to keep your drinks happy. Last but not least, there is now a Horus Heresy Sketchbook - and before you blow your lid, no this isn't full of sketches... it's blank pages to doodle on! Yes we felt the same way!
