Games Workshop Masking Tape on the Way?

You might remember a couple of weeks ago, in fact for the review of White Dwarf #8, I pointed out that the 'Eavy Metal had finally admitted to using masking tape when painting their models.
Well this week in the most recent Taurox Painting Tutorial, masking tape again turns up, this time to do some markings on the hull (1 minute into the video). 

Okay, so the masking job he does is pretty messy , and using proper modeller's masking tape like the excellent Tamiya range would get better results but it's a pretty unlikely coincidence that we see two appearances by masking tape in GW tutorials having NEVER spoken about it before!
