Well reports out of the UK say that he is set to open two free schools. - the Livingstone Academies.
The schools are just two of twenty two new free schools announced in the UK last week..
The Livingstone Academies will focus on science, technology, engineering, arts and maths with the 3,000 students aged from four to nineteen.
His vision is that the free schools will encourage “creative thinking and enterprise”.
Although this seems out of the blue, six years ago, Mr Livingstone write a scathing report on the state of IT education - so scathing in fact that it played a role in the ICT curriculum being scrapped and replaced with the current computing curriculum being taught in schools across the UK.
Ian Livingstone's connection with computers and gaming has also moved away from the tabletop, he is also the Life President of Eidos Games, the people behind Tomb Raider.
