Now this might be a thing and it might not be a thing - but it's pretty odd...
Last Saturday, the Games Workshop Pre Order section was choc-a-block with Chaos releases (re-boxings, yes, but I'm being generous), so much so that it took forever to write them all up.
Flick to today - Tuesday - and most of these have moved from the Pre-Order section (below left) to the New Releases section (below right). So what does this mean?
Is it as simple as no new branding or packaging for what really are just reboxings or does it mean wider things for this much anticipated Chaos Space Marine release?
After all the build up in Social Media about the Black Crusade. has this now become a soft release just pushed out there? This did seem to be the start of the next global campaign (after Age of $igmar's Seasons of War) with sweeping ramifications for the 40K universe - and that hype was there just 4 days ago.
With no sign of the rumoured new Chaos Space Marines, has this fizzled before it began? Time will tell!
