| The reboot of Games Workshop's Imperial Guard is all over the interwebs today with some leaked images obtained by BoLS Lounge. What they purport to show are two of the boxed sets and the Codex. The Imperial Guard releases pictured, now called the Militarum Tempestus, seem to be the Veterans Boxed Set and the much anticipated vehicle - rumoured to be anything from a new tank to a new transport to an armoured car. The first leaked image (left) is very low resolution, but later images (below) give us a better look... and as the BoLS Lounge say - there's something just not right about that... vehicle thing! It's pretty bloody awful that's for sure. Could the delayed April 5th release date be a hint that this odd looking vehicle is an April Fools joke? The Militarum Scions look interesting - very different to the Guard we are used to from the old days and certainly different from the Cadians that have been the mainstay of the Imperial Guard ranks for some years. March the 25th should tell us more... |
