Kill Team has given Games Workshop the ability to expand the look and feel of factions inside Warhammer 40K. Somewhat like Warcry, this has been a great opportunity for hobbyists to think wider about the universe, and today that explodes a bit with the release of Kill Team: Nachmund, which not only adds new weapons loadouts to the Chaos Space Marines, but most of all gives us a faction that has been in Warhammer 40K from the very beginning - Eldar Corsairs, or as they were originally called, Space Elf Pirates. There are so many influences from across the Eldar factions in these miniatures, from Dark Eldar to Craftworld, and even Exodite influences (left). Along with the Mechanicus scenery, this is a great set. Available separately there are also the Corsair Voidscarred and Legionaries Dice Sets.
The most recent Kill Team has also been broken up into it's elements this week, so you can get the Kill Team: Killzone Chalnath scenery, Kill Team: Chalnath the book, Kill Team: Pathfinders and Kill Team: Novitiates if you missed out on the boxed set. The Pathfinders is just an update sprue to the existing kit, but the Novitiates is an all new set.
In books this week, the massive Tzeentch release of a few years ago saw a new version of Ahriman released, and if you're a fan, this weekend you can pre-order the "Mega Limited Edition" Ahriman: Eternal. Probably a must-have for Tzeentch fans. Also on pre-order this week is the Hallowed Ground in Hardback.
