Next week marks the 40th anniversary of White Dwarf the monthly - and for a time weekly - hobby magazine from Games Workshop and to celebrate they have released a special new White Dwarf miniature. You may have seen this first on our Facebook page a few days ago as pics started to surface. Now the mini itself... Good news = he's in power armour Bad news = he's Finecast There's lots of great little detail on this guy, including for you Nerf fans out there, the bolt pistol behind him is in Nerf packaging! There is also a Forge World version with Grombrindal & The Black Gobbo portrayed as Blood Bowl Star Players Also next week there's some more Mechanicum terrain with an Industrial Base Set (hopefully better than the first release of GW bases) and also the super cool Galvanic Servohaulers. There's also two new combined sets, the Promethium Forge and the Ferratonic Incinerator. Tell you what, the ability to build Forge Worlds is really picking up! In the world of Age of $igmar, the Kharadron releases continue with the Arkanaut Ironclad - the big ship in the Kharadron fleet - as well as the Aetheric Navigator and Brokk Grungson, the rather spiffy looking head cheese of Barak-Nar! In the world of books, the new Carrion Throne novel set in the word of the Imperial Palace. Now either the Inquisitor on the front cover is very tall, or Luke Skywalker is dressed up as a Custodes.
