At some point, the Blood Angels became the pretty-boys of the Warhammer 40K universe - blonde haired, blue eyed - rather angelic looking. Oh, hold on, THAT'S why they are called Blood Angels? Crap - that's 24 levels of retcon there! Like the Dark Angels, these guys are the Angels of Death, BUT that's not the way it is anymore (despite them technically being vampires) - so here are a whole lot of blonde Space Marines.
The Archangels Demi-Company (right) is elements of the 1st Company, 25 minis & 2 dreadnoughts. Also packing a sizeable miniature punch is the Blood Angels Battle Demi-Company, a little smaller is the Blood Angels Death Company Strike Force - 15 minis plus a Chaplain and a dreadnought. Of similar size minus the dreadnaught is the Golden Host all sparkly and slashy slashy with the blades and jump packs. If your flavour is Terminators, then the Archangels Orbital Intervention force is for you.
Lots of Terminators of varying slicey and shooty flavours.
The Blood Angels release isn't just miniatures, there is also Angel's Blade (which sounds like a bad strip club) - this also comes in standard and Deluxe format. Hope this is better than the Sons of Sanguinius book which was super boring! The Blood Angels deserve a good book, so hers' hoping this is the one!
There are more miniatures too - basically repacks with the upgrade sprue: 10th Company Ambush is quite a cute idea, Blood Angels Chapter Ancients (great name BTW) are three dreadnaghts you can make into any of the available Blood Angels ones. The Blood Angels Assault Squad is based on the new excellent Assault Squad kit with a tonne of weapons, the Vanguard and Sternguard are as the normal ones but with a Blood Angels Upgrade Sprue, and finally the Command Squad is the normal one, but with the same Upgrade Sprue. So like the other week with the Deathwatch, the real hero release of next week is the current Blood Angels Upgrade Sprue which has been around for a while now.

| And here it is - the real champion of next week's release, the Blood Angles Upgrade Sprue. Just like the Space Wolves, Ultramarines and Dark Angels ones, these provide extra bits for Chap[er-specific conversions. Why there isn't an Imperial Fist/ Crimson Fists one I don't know. It would seem a logical inclusion and maybe down the road there will be one. These are an awesome idea and at a fair price for the ability to upgrade an entire squad. There should be more!
