It's week three of the Deathwatch releases and I tell you what, they don't stop!
There's been pretty consistent rumours that the Deathwatch release is in conjunction with an upcoming skism of some sort on the 40K universe - Black Crusade/ return of the Primarchs/ second Horus Heresy - it's all been rumoured. Well by the size of this release, one would have to assume that the Deathwatch are going to be pretty important.
This week we see a tonne of Deathwatch boxes all based around the 5 Man Kill Team with added models (bikes/ Terminators etc etc). It's also the week of the AWESOME Corvus Blackstar (looking not unlike this ship from the Epic days - above) and the Deathwatch Master. There's also a few repacks, the Deathwatch Dreadnought (repack), Deathwatch Vangaurd, Deathwatch Terminators, Deathwatch Chaplain and Deathwatch Librarian.
There's also a new audio drama and a novel I assume taking us down whatever path this release is going.
Have a look at the price of the characters BTW, at around $30 that's the cheapest we've seen clampacks for a while and a really positive trend. Good stuff GW!!

Now - I spotted something really interesting - have a look at what's in the middle of this Inquisition symbol from the Corvus Blackstar (above). That's unmistakably a Tau drone. Now what Tau technology are the Deathwatch using in this ship? What do you think??
EDIT: Thankfully BlueMako and Ksan had better vision than I and saw this hatch cover for what it is... a hatch cover. Having been deeply involved in Tau during Armies on Parade, I'm pretty sure I have been tainted.
