A few weeks ago we showed you some really awesome models from Warex's Ebay Store. At that time I made an order and today they are here, so figured we should have a look at probably the most spectacular first - The Female Imperial Inquisitor with Deathcruiser Bike. This model jumped out at me instantly, and as much as I ADORE their cars, the AUD $ is not that great at the moment - so this was a good test model. What I received today has blown me away... + + More After The Jump + + |
The first thing you notice about them is the quality of the resin. It is clean and smooth with no holes or artifacts and no warping - something Forge World seem unable to achieve.
Also included is the scenic base and of course the Female Imperial Inquisitor.
All the pieces are very sturdy, they don't feel like they will break or bend and fit together beautifully.
She is pictured here with a War Hound jetbike rider WIP for size comparison. She is much finer than the marine (as should be the way), but would fit perfectly in with any 40K or other futuristic battle force.
With quality like this, and spectacular sculpting and design, some of the big manufacturers need to step up their game, because Warex is kicking goals.
I will say, not all their products are cheap - this was $25 US - but for a centre piece or character model that will lead or be a vital part of your army, then it's cheaper than many out there.
I am very happy with the purchase and have more to show in the next little while.
