Rob Symes Leaves Games WOrkshop & Warhammer Community

In a bit of a shock announcement today, Rob Symes, who you would know from the Warhammer Community team and part of the hosting duo for the Games Workshop Twitch Channel, has revealed he is leaving Games Workshop.
Rob, or @SixDiceSkills as he was known on Twitter, has been a breath of fresh air in the Games Workshop world who are notoriously stiff and boring. Rob first came to most of our attention in this video (below) where he excitedly extolled his love for the Sylvaneth and their (at the time) upcoming Battletome.
We, like many others, felt his infectious enthusiasm in all he did, and his engagement with the community was really top notch - a very big step towards something Games Workshop should have been doing with the community when Social Media first broke instead of shutting down all their accounts, only to later relaunch with this new community engagement angle they are now going for.

Although the reason for his exit is not known, you would have to wonder if this final post on his Twitter from early July had anything to do with it. A true individual, you would wonder if he was too much of an individual for the notoriously tight Games Workshop corporate image.

Good luck with the future, Rob. You've always been thoroughly entertaining and an inspiration to our fledgling Sylvaneth force! Would never have even tried them without your enthusiasm.
