|The Home of Beardy Hammer|
This weekend was SMASH, one of Sydney's burgeoning conventions - this one centering on anime and manga. SMASH is also the venue for Gunpla each year, and boy did we pick a good year not to enter because the selection of entries was not only varied, but also exquisite. From beautifully done single models, with such clean lines, to dioramas, to large models with LEDs. There was even an entry done by a class of students from a local primary school.
Not only are there great models by entrants into Gunpla, there's also a chance to see some of the kits from Bandai soon to hit our shores - and occasionally something you can't buy but is SOOO cool!.
