You may remember a while back my attempt to fix the Taurox/ Taurox prime kit from games Workshop. It basically involved changing the front tracked section with some Ork wheels and bogeys. It has to be said, it may be the most derided and disliked kit they have ever produced and every man and his dog it seems has a solution! Well when I saw that Blood & Skull Industries had a kit out to fix it I just had to give it a try. I've tested their resin in the past and found it to be really solid stuff, so I wasn't worried about the quality, I was only worried about the ease of conversion. Luckily and bit of thinking with the old brain-pan and a pair of cutters and a pretty great looking result ensued. ++ More after the jump ++ |
The resin feels a bit different to the last stuff of their's I used, not as smooth and slightly textured, but it's still quality stuff - not soapy or anything like the Spartan Games stuff (no I can't forgive!)
Once the little knobby bit is cut off to make the end flush, it fits like a glove with a bit of Superglue!
How natural does this look on there? As if Blood & Skulls had built the whole kit!
If you've bought a Taurox and keep looking at it wondering what the Hell to do with it and not just convert it into an Ork wreck, then this kit is a real goer.
Check out the Blood & Skulls Ebay store to buy it. I bought mine and am very pleased I did.
