 So this is Fenris. He is the friendlier of the two, but also the youngest. More willing to be patted, but not wanting to take the first step. When I first had to rescue Fenris, he was fast - he dodged my grasps and gave me an almighty bite, thus his name; Fenris. On his first night he was very brave though, and jumped up onto the bed. He didn't want a pat, he was just adventuring. Together he and his sister sat and watched me, taking turns as one slept, the other watched. On the downside, Fenris isn't so good at the toilet. Thud! has to show him the way each time, but in saying that, he shows her we aren't so scary! |  Little Thud!. The scaredy cat andFenris' new mum. Thud! is named after the first sound she made when she went into the box - and the fact she's not so good at jumping. It's also a Terry Pratchett reference. Thud! isn't very well and her right eye has an ulcer which means we have to apply cream to it twice a day. It's clearing up well, but the medicating makes her even more shy of us. She's very vocal and calls for Fenris if she can't find him. Emma says it's a mother-cat-style meow. She keeps him in line. If she doesn't go first, he is unlikely too! |
