If you've been following the Project: War Hounds section of this site there hasn't been an update for a while.
As other projects and life get in the way, my fledgling force of Tactical Pre-Heresy War Hounds Space Marines just slowly bubbled along - but today I can show you a mini that's been coming along for a while. For the keen of eye, this is the first War Hound with a Bolter. I had considered long and hard if I would use Bolters at all, as it seemed pre-Heresy and certainly pre-Imperium Space Marines used Volkite weapons. After must consultation and finally word from Forge World, it was ascertained that in fact Bolters were used in those fledgling years... I'm still not sure I agree with that, but there you go!

This guy also has a much simpler base than the others, just drybrushed and he's ready to go!

The eternal question; Volkite or Bolter... not gluing it in makes this a much easier way to hedge my bets!
