The first Saturday of every month brings with it the mixed blessing of Warhammer: Visions, which has not exactly been stellar in the past, but this issue has a few things that might just be showing they are paying closer attention to it. The vast majority of this issue is made up of Astra Militarum shots, which are mostly the ones form White Dwarf, but surprisingly and happily, there are some new ones in there which is really cool and what fans are after anyway! As such I have skipped the Astra Militarum shots for this review, as you've pretty much seen them before, and concentrated on some of the other bits, including the Imperial World Eaters army by James Karch - and what an army it is. SO much detail. So is this issue worth getting? More after the jump! ~ WARNING - I am not a photographer, so expect dodgy pictures below |
Parade Ground has some really great models from across the Golden Demon entries from Cologne. This was one of my favourites! | There's also some shots of this amazing diorama - that we put up in November last year! Way to miss the boat on some amazing work!. |
The level of photographs is much better. They are clear and not blurry - well their's not mine - and some of the angles and placement is imaginative and almost looks like the still of a battle!
Here's hoping this is the turning point for Warhammer: Visions!
