| Being the first Saturday of the month - it's Warhammer: Visions day! In the past the issues have been quality sporadic - I mean full of lovely pictures, but pictures that had been previously in the last month's worth of White Dwarf issues. This month we get a banana-load of Ork pictures. Did you like the Ork releases? Well, my friend, you are in for a whole lot of greenskin-ery! Not sure about Orks? Well... there are other things in there too! There's a pretty good look at the Forge World Imperial Knight Lancer - probably the most detailed shots so far actually. Here we go - the Forge World Cerastus Knight-Lancer. Much anticipated, this kit is a full resin kit, not an add-on to the standard Games Workshop kit. In fact if you look below, you can see the size difference is pretty stark! (also notice the furnace on the back of the Imperial Knight in B/W - that's new!)
Also from Forge World is this amazing Dread Saurian and a perfect opportunity to show off some Lizardmen. Such a cool idea for an army - just not as cool as they could be!

This month's Army of the Month is Gareth Etherington's Hobbit army. I'm not really a fan of the Hobbit guys, but this would have been a very expensive army to collect and he's done a beautiful job!
There is of course lots of pages of miniatures - these two stood out as worthy winners.

The inclusion of this battle is a really great way to show off some amazing miniatures. Have a look at those massive spiders!!

Kit Bash this month is on Tyranids - a perfect subject! Get out your Green Stuff for this, BTW.
What's also interesting is the style these are painted in. It's very much like they are meant to look like an oil painting - not sure about it really...

There are 3 Armies On Parade this month - pretty much something for everyone.
The only problem with only having 2 pages for each army, is that one whole page is taken up with the huge splash page, then we only really get a few images. WANT MORE!!

Verdict
How do you feel about Orks? Well this issue is full of Orks. Yes there are other things here, but really it is the main focus.
Personally I'd like to see the Kit Bash section expanded more and the crappy Paint Splatter (which is repeated from White Dwarf anyway) dumped.
More space for the awesome things hobbyists do, please, less filler!
