| Back in the 80's, "Yo Joe" was always the cry as the Joes plunged into battle with Cobra Command. But in the new millennium, Wordburgler provide us with some awesome tunes totally G.I.Joe themed! Look, i'll be honest, rap isn't my thing, but ever since getting this CD a few weeks ago, it has been on high rotation in the car - "Rap Viper" is the favourite! The gansta beats drive some really brilliant lyrics with cameos by characters from all across the G.I.Joe universe and plot devices from comics, cartoons and the file cards on the back of the action figures. It's brilliant fun - and for $13CAN, a bargain. Get on it now, or choose the download option - but isn't having the physical CD better anyway? |
