Why is this prophetic I hear you ask? Firstly because this week sees the release of the Stormcast Eternal Prosecutors - easily my favourite Age of Sigmar miniatures so far - but it also is the week I officially abandon Warhammer Age of Sigmar. Over the past few week I have been monitoring the price of the AoS product go up and up and I think when they are $30 per miniature - it's time to go! But I digress, apart from the high prices, this is actually a very good issue of White Dwarf! The Stormcast Eternal Prosecutors have been hovering (pardon the pun) in the background of battle scenes ever since Age of Sigmar was released. There were a few in the boxed set (again EXCELLENT value if you want to play this game) but these ones released today are vaguely more posebale and have more weapon options (below). The big change here is to have spears/ tridents - these look AMAZING - and shields which really add an extra dimension to the way these models look.

Also in the world of flying dudes in armour, the Stormcast Eternal Knights are also previewed this week.
There is the Knight-Azyros and Knight-Venator - a combi-kit to make either. These miniatures look amazing, especially the Venator who has a bow - which leads one to wonder if there will be Prosecutor versions with bows? It would make sense considering the other Stormcasts have missile troops...

Now here's some value - these Upgrades are actually pretty cheap! A great idea that flew under the radar a bit, these will add variety to your force and I'm sure lead people to design their own units too.
There is of course a Codex of sorts for the Stormcast Eternals - not sure why this wasn't released earlier!
... BUT WAIT - there's more - yes the deluxe version gives you the Forge World treatment with gilded pages and the like, plus a print (does anyone care for prints?)

There's the obligatory Stormcast range splash page (not sure if that's working because my GW is not moving stock from week to week at all!) and... Forge World show us their amazingly detailed Invictarus Suzerain squad miniatures. These are so SO detailed! These guys are the soon-to-be leaders of the Ultramarines and they are kitted out in all the good stuff! If you want to see these painted really amazingly well, follow @doot on Twitter. Just awesome work on these and other Ultramarines!

Sprues and glue concentrates on the Upgrade sets. Now in future, GW, why not just paint the new bits so we can see them better? Grey on grey isn't as dynamic as seeing the difference once on. I mean it would actually be really cool if they moulded them in a different colour too, but that would be expensive I imagine.
Really loving how Armies on Parade is getting a good run this year. We haven'tt missed a week so far and these three units for their respective armies look great. So nice to see someone else doing different colours on the Kastelans. Our Legio Balista one is here...

Verdict
This is a good issue. This is an issue that if you buy there will be content to read, some great pictures AND some modelling inspiration. Can't go too wrong. Go on... you know you want to!
