| Week two of Warhammer's Nurgle releases sees some pretty impressive miniatures. Like Nagash and his Mortarchs, Nurgle have their own heavy hitters - the Maggoth Lords! This issue does pay special attentiojn to them, and with one kit making one of three different models, there is a bit to say. But thankfully this issue does also move away from the new releases and tells us more about Nurgle, including a Sprues and Glue and a Paint Splatter that helps get that pustulent look just right! There's also a new Tau audio drama, the third installment of Gods of Mars and a look at the new Forgeworld Knight. The first of the Maggoth Lords we get to see is Orghotts Daemonspew - great name - bet he's a hit on Tinder! Name aside, this is a pretty damn impressive kit. The paint job is impressive too, contrasting pinks and greens. Very impressive.

The second alternative kit is Bloab Rotspawned, another popular guy around town. His gnarlie looking beastie is vomiting acid. There's lots of detail in the vomit, but no carrots that I can see!

Third in the line-up is Morbidex Twiceborn, a very traditional looking Nurgle champion atop a mount with it's guts barely held in. This is a pretty conventional looking Nurgle fellow and I'm guessing a popular build from this kit where you can build one of these attractive chaps!
Moving on from the pestilence, we get a fleeting look at Forge World's sizeable Cerastus Knight-Castigator. This guy stands head and shoulders above the Games Workshop entry and comes with a rather spiffy looking Bolt cannon.
Also this week, The Kauyon, a new audio drama based around a Tau Pathfinder team. And in terms of books, Gods of Mars, part three is coming! If you like your Adeptus Mechanicus, this might be for you!

Sprues and Glue spans 4 pages this week and givesw some pretty good hints on Nurgle-ing your Chaos Warriors. Most of it is pretty straight forward, but fun to see and a smart way to get people to adapt existing minis rather than releasing the sorely-needed Nurgle Chaos Warriors.
The Talos were a little lost in the recent Dark Eldar re-release, but this is a pretty fun challenge to see how tough they are in battle.

Paint Splatter does a reasonable job this week looking at the Nurgle colours. Some of this is very good - especially when it comes to the Maggoth Lord - the rest is a bit hit and miss. Some very easy tips on weathering effects paints, The skin tones don't look quite right to me...
Verdict
Apart from all the Nurgle and the other things I've already mentioned, Jeremy Vetock's War Stories article is quite cute too, but all in all - there isn't a lot going on here!
There's some large data cards/ rules for the Maggoth Lords, but that's pretty much it.
