I'm going to put this out there because it's really starting to p*ss me off & maybe you can help me with it!? I use a lot of Mordian Blue/ Macragge Blue for my War Hounds and I have experimented washing them with the GW shades Nuln Oil and Drakenhof Nightshade. I find Nuln Oil a little too dark, so prefer the look that Drakenhof Nightshade gives me as it just darkens the blue where I want it to - or does it? Unfortunately it's not an even wash and I end with some white patched in the crevices on some of the armour once dry! Applying a wash is always a touch messy, but having these white marks in the recesses is driving me nuts! |
Maybe it's an issue with this Shade and it's just crappy. If so what should I use instead?
I generally use a watered down paint to shade, but this seemed like such a good idea...
Brains trust, you're my only hope!!
