As a publication that can need updates, the idea of digital publications make sense - no more errata published on websites so you have to print it out and stick in the back of the book.
It seems like a great idea, but would you take a tablet with you everywhere you go?
What if you don't have a tablet?
The digital Codex don't work on Android phones for example.
At least with a book you can bookmark it, take notes and flick through the pretty pictures.
But how do we get the best of both worlds? That is for greater minds than I!
So which do you prefer; the digital version that can be updated or the book with the fragrant pages and pretty pictures?
