Fulgrim Transfigured is a huge model, the wings adding an extra 100% on top of his already larger overall frame. How he'll be transported one only knows, but on the field of battle he'll be a monster. Amazing model, but he's also the most expensive of the Primarchs so far, coming in at $400+ AUD/ NZD. It's an investment, but the detail on him makes him a model that you could take your time with and really make it a true centrepiece. Yes, I am currently talking myself out of buying this - and those bloody wings seem like an absolute pain!
Alongside Fulgrim Transfigured is another Forge World resin kit, the Legiones Astartes: Traitor Champion Consul - and what an awesome model he is. Tweaking the new MkIII armour, we now have an artificer plate version. More the pity he's not in plastic, but this is a great looking mini and a great base for a conversion. In retrospect, it would have been great to see this mini in Emperor's Children livery, considering the Primarch is on pre-order. Not to be confused, this mini is available on the week-of 18/11.
Also in Forge World resin (and available from the 18/11) are two Necromunda Votann minis - Urson Grimjarl, Jardlan Nomad Hunter and Orrin Grimjarl, Last Charter Lord Of Jardlan. The latter is interestingly most noteable for his weapon - a Beamer - which we don't often see these days and harks back to Rogue Trader where it was mounted on both vehicles and as a heavy weapon option for many factions. The heavy Volkites have generally taken that role currently, but who know, maybe we will see a new Beamer option for some factions coming soon. We'd be very keen!
