Just weeks before Games Workshop launch their new Imperial Guard minis, Victoria Miniatures have released a new preview, this time the Arcadian Rifles - a new fully modular resin force. There's some really nice pieces in this, and as long-time fans of Victoria Miniatures we hope to show you more really soon! This looks like a really great set - what do you think?
We're big fans of Kickstarter and have backed some pretty cool projects, one of which is the Rangers Project: Salamanders. The Kickstarter was recently funded and one of their stretch goals was some very cheap 15mm infantry - cool idea when having a mech Kickstarter me thinks! So yesterday they released an absolutely smashing preview image - and I can't tell you how glad I was that I backed it. Check these out!! Now they are cool! This is just part of the ongoing Rangers Project which is worth a look!
There have been a lot of scuttle-butt about the similarities between the Dreamforge Leviathan Crusader and the Games Workshop Imperial Knight. The Games Workshop Rapid-fire Battle Cannon and the Dreamforge Beowulf Artillery Cannon are just one striking example! However - all that aside - this picture will tell you that though they share certain things that are similar - height is not one of them! Dreamforge Leviathan Crusader for the win... even without the epic weapons loadout. Keen-eyed observers would notice the little Kroot at the bottom of the shot...
It's one of my Kroot Eldar pirates with his paint scheme nearly done!
They did a pretty good job of keeping it under wraps. but today saw the release of the new Games Workshop Imperial Knight in WK40K scale. Apparently a long-standing dream of Jes Goodwin, we know finally have it in and and ready to roll.
Having now gone over the sprues and had a really good look, this kit holds some really good possibilities. BUT BE WARNED - I was told today that Games Workshop in Australia only have 100 in their warehouse and don't expect to get resupplied for at least a few weeks, so if you miss out in store you might be waiting a while. Now - lets split open a box and delve inside...
